All too often we hear these two terms being used interchangeably--"clear-cutting" & "land-clearing." We'll compare & contrast the two as well as their benefits & costs. We'll also bring into the discussion "selective cutting" as well. Spoiler alert: One of these terms is a legitimate silvicultural practice.
