Virginia McDaniel is the Acting Forest Botanist & Ecologist with USDA’s Ouachita National Forest. Her current research includes Fuel consumption during prescribed fires; the Effect of prescribed fire on the ecological communities of the Interior Highlands; the Effect of lightning ignition fires on tree mortality during drought; & Herbaceous flora of pine woodland communities.
