Well, it's that time again to discuss tent caterpillars. Some of our members are experiencing gypsy moth damage upon oak trees, while others are eastern tent caterpillars upon fruit trees. I expect forest tent caterpillars soon on a more commonly found tree--sugar maple.
We'll discuss some basic biology of these insects and when it's time to take action too.
